AM HD SS in Tashkent. PM Transfer to Samarkand. (280 kms;
5hs). Hotel. |
| Day 3 |
Full day sightseeing (FD SS) in Samarkand. Visiting of Guri-Emir
mausoleum, Rukhabad necropolis (XV c.); Registan complex (XVII
c.), Bibi-Khanum cathedral mosque (XV c.), Ulugbek observatory
(XV c.), Shakhi-Zinda mausoleums ensemble, bazaar. Hotel. |
| Day 4 |
Transfer Samarkand - Nurata. (200 kms; 3 hs). Excursion. Visiting
of Madrassa of Sheihun Hasan Nury, mosgue Mamozgkh XIV, fortress
of Alexander the Great. Lunch in a national house. Transfer
to desert base. Overnight in yurts. |
| Day 5 |
Camel riding from the base camp to Palopon well (18 km). Typical
desert nature low dunes with rare vegetation. Lunch in the shepherds-
yurt in Koshar place. Night in tents. |
| Day 6 |
Trekking from Palopon well to the saline lake (24km). Lunch
in a yurt in a little village, lost in sand. Tourists can see
the inhabitants of desert - tortoises, lizards, giant lizards.
Night in tents on the bank of big saline lake. From time immemorial
they can obtain salt here. |
| Day 7 |
Taking several crystals of salt as a keepsake we are going
to Iskanderkul lake (25 km). Lunch in the house of shepherd
in Temirkhan place. |
| Day 8 |
Return to the base camp (15 km). Dinner, the ancient songs
of local akyn (folk singer). |
| Day 9 |
Transfer to Aidarkul lake. This is a miracle in a desert and
its area is 200 sq. km. Swimming, fishing, lunch from the fresh
fish. Transfer to Bukhara (200 km), Samarkand (300 km).
Day 10. FD SS in Bukhara. Visiting of Samanid's Mausoleum (IX-X
cc.), Chashma Ayub Mazar (graveyard) (XIV-XIX cc.), Poi-Kalan
complex (XII-XVI cc.), Ulugbek madrassa (it that was built by
grandson of Tamerlan - Ulugbek - distinguished mathematician
and astronomer), Lyabi-Hauz complex (XVI-XVII cc.), Sitorai
Mokhi Khosa - "Palace of Moon and Stars" - summer
residence of Bukhara Emir (XIX c.), Bolo Khauz mosque, Ark -
ancient fortress (VI-VII cc.). Hotel. |
| Day 11 |
Flight Bukhara - Tashkent. Transfer. Hotel. |
The
trek goes through the center of Kyzyl-Kum desert that means red sand.
Many discoveries and interesting meetings are awaiting our participants
every day of the tour. The dromedaries called desert-s ships are taking
you softly along the ancient caravans- roads through the sand dunes
and rare thicket of haloxylon. You will meet the wonderful flora and
fauna of the desert. Nobody can be indifferent to the original blossoming
of the desert in early spring or to the meeting a dragon of these
places - a giant lizard. The trek leaves many pleasant memories about
visiting yurts of the local shepherds, drinking an aroma tea, so we
get to know their way of life. The best time for trekking is from
March to June.
