| For travelling in Uzbekistan foreign
tourists need to have a tourist visa. The visa can be obtained in
the Embassy of Republic of Uzbekistan overseas. Citizens of following
counties may collect the visa without applying of visa invitation
letter to the Uzbek Embassy: UK, US, Austria, Belgium, Germany,
Italy, France, Japan, Spain and Switzerland. Tourists from other countries should apply to the Embassy the invitation letter arranged by national travel agent. According to regulation Ministery of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan for arranging of the invitation letter needed following passport data:

Citizenship Date & place (city & country) of birth
Passport number & dates of
validity Permanent address Occupation & confirmation letter from place
of work Place of receiving the visa (country where is the
embassy of Uzbekistan and where is convenient for you to collect the
visa) Term of your visit in Uzbekistan The procedure is as follows. After received these details we send the request to the MFA of Uzbekistan. The request is under the consideration in the MFA for about 10 days. Then the reference number (the number of confirmation) is given and the copy of the invitation is sent to Uzbek Embassy of the country where it is convenient for you to get visa. And also I will send you the copy of such invitation (for the period that you indicate in your request) by fax that you should give us. With the copy of the invitation you paid at the Embassy and get there visa. (Asia Travel is not responsible for incorrect putting dates of visa in Uzbek embassies. We only guarantee correct dates in invitation letter). VISA FEES: SINGLE ENTRY VISA: up to 7 days - $ 40 US up to 15 days - $ 50 US up to 30 days - $ 60 US for each additional entry - $ 10 US MULTIPLE ENTRY VISA FEE (EXCEPT US CITIZENS): up to 1 month - $ 60 US (applicable to one month multiple entry tourist visa) GROUP VISAS \ FOR TOURIST GROUPS OF 10 PERSONS OR MORE: up to 15 days - $ 15 US per person up to 30 days - $25 US per person TRANSIT VISAS FEES: up to 24 hours – $ 20 US up to 48 hours – $ 25 US up to 72 hours – $ 30 US for double entry - $ 40 US FOR US CITIZENS: visas issued for a period of up to four years (multiple entries) – $100 US, cost of transit visa - $25 US.
