Early departure from Tashkent
to “Bakht” rest zone at the foot hills of Maliy Chimgan Peak
(2097 m.). 90 km, 1,5 hrs. Easy ascend to Gilkam Pass (1830
m.), descending to the birch grove on the bank of Gulkam river.
Rest. Exploration of the nearby picturesque environs. In May
and June it’s possible to make a short walk to the snowfield
in the upper reaches of Gulkamsay river. After rest passing
through Gulkam Canyon – one of the most beautiful monuments
of nature in the Western Tien-Shan. Lunch in the green birch
grove on going out of the canyon.
After lunch horseback riding along the slopes of Maly Chimgan
Peak to Chimgan village or descending on foot to the car to
the valley of Yangikurgansay river. Evening transfer to Tashkent.
